New Caregivers’ Support Group in Palm Desert Begins June 2, 2010

The demand is so great for support resources for those caring for loved ones afflicted with Alzheimer’s, Dementia or Memory Loss due to other chronic conditions, another Alzheimer’s Association-affiliated support group for caregivers has been established. Sponsored by the Center for Spiritual Living, this caregivers’ support group will be facilitated by Kae Hammond, founder of ALZ Life Matters, and meet weekly on Wednesday’s from 9 to 10:30 am. The first meeting is set for June 2nd and will be held in the Conference Room at the Center.

The Center for Spiritual Living is located at 45-630 Portola Avenue in Palm Desert on the south east corner of Portola and Shadow Mountain. For more information, contact Kae Hammond at 760-777-8039.
